A Shocking Emergency, the middle school edition of Call.Push.Shock™ follows Michael and Maddy as they demonstrate leadership skills of knowledge, communication, teamwork and being a good role model. A quick response and use of CPR and an AED help to save the life of a friend who experiences a sudden cardiac arrest. Expanded vocabulary and an explanation of how the heart works encourages middle school students to meet state science and standards and develop confidence in taking a role in an emergency. Follow up activities support retention of the material and creativity.
